My laptop isn't really up to server spec, so I just run 2K pro, so if you
don't need the sites running concurrently, just change the home directory in
IIS every time you want to change to a different site

Thanks Guys

I do have windows 2000 server but I use windows XP and I do not want to
go back to 2000 as I like XP and am very happy with it.

As they do not yet sell windows XP server (do they) the only choice I
have is to install Apache, I just want to know if anyone has had any
issues running the same code on Apache and IIS?

Thanks

I hate to say this but...

> install Server :-)

Assume that you are developing and want to develop on multiple sites.
You
don't have a machine with Server on it, just Professional. Either you
spend
xxx on upgrading (if you do things legally of course), or you could use
the
free HTTP Server called Apache... hmmm!

Not everyone has access to that kind of money/software!
