I've got it working now, it was to do with the url of the flash services
gateway and because I was using a multi homed site on IIS, I needed to
do a fix to get it to work

There are security restrictions within the browser that will only let a
flash movie remote to the server that it was served from IIRC. Does this
offer any clues?
