you can get a recordset of tables and their respective columns in SQL server
by running:
SELECT dbo.sysobjects.name AS tablenames, dbo.syscolumns.name AS
columnnames, dbo.sysobjects.id
FROM dbo.syscolumns INNER JOIN
dbo.sysobjects ON dbo.syscolumns.id = dbo.sysobjects.id
WHERE (dbo.sysobjects.xtype = 'U')
ORDER BY dbo.sysobjects.name DESC
is this what you meant?
