If Snake is stuck with ProtX and cannot change then ASP is the least ugly route to take given that the supplied API is designed for ASP and indeed comes with ASP scripts to assist with the integration. If it were an option then I'm sure he'd have opted for Worldpay or the suchlike and would have had the solution set up and running ages ago. It's not pretty but it would be an excercise in integrating 2 different middleware platforms which can be used as a selling point to potential clients.
