That's the biggest problem.  They are very very useful, but are complicated
to use to their full capacity.  CFC's do have an amazing advantage over a
lot of ColdFusion scripting, BUT they require you to think in a much more
object oriented way, which most of us would say is not actually a normal way
of approaching CF.

They are good, but MM hasn't produced enough info of it's own and enough
examples for them to be anything other than a marketing ploy ("It's object
oriented now") or for the higher end users and partners to use them to show
them how "clever" they are.

I do like them, I just think MM missed a bit of a trick by not pushing them
and explaining them and providing articles using them in real world
situations.

provides a good real world example of using them.
