How's about:

Click on "Edit Sites"
Click on "New"
(Wait 20 minutes while it loads ;) )
Put in a site name (local web)
Put in the folder (C:\inetpub\wwwroot)
Put in the http address of the folder (ie if it's C:\inetpub\wwwroot, choose
http://localhost)
Click on "Remote Info"
Choose Access (Can be RDS if you want, or FTP, or SourceSafe etc) [for
arguments sake, choose FTP]
Enter the FTP details
Click on "Testing Server" (THIS CAN BE THE SAME AS THE LOCAL INFORMATION)
Choose "ColdFusion" for testing model
Choose the "Local Network" option [as it's on C:\inetpub\wwwroot]
Put in the same info as for the local
Cloaking - turn it off
Design Notest - turn it off
Site map layout - not important
File View Columns - can ignore

Then your done

Use the "site" to open up files
Put/Get files (inc sourcesafe etc)
What could be more simple?

The advantage then, is that if you click on "Application" tab, you get all
the database (just like the database tab in CFStudio) but it's a slightly
better interface imho (ignore the server bindings and server behaviours).

Click on "Design" tab and you can mess around all you like with the design
in a page (and it does it in a pop-up) which is actually more useful than
you think!

I have to say, if there was a CFStudio 6, I would use that in preference,
BUT DWMX does a very good job imho.
