Well, that's what we'd do currently with RDS in Studio. Obviously you
don't want to just blindly upload your development file with the edit in
case it had been altered in other ways by your current development work.
I was under the impression (perhaps wrongly) that the RDS feature in
DWMX was actually more like FTP than traditional RDS, meaning that you
had to download the file first, make a local edit and then overwrite the
one on the server.

I vaguely remember e-mailing someone at Macromedia about this (think it
was via the DWMX forums) and their reply confirmed that impression.

Either way, I need to take another look at DWMX; the Sites aspect will
hopefully become clearer after going through your e-mail.
