Can you not save out from the Mac version a PC version? (I seem to remember in earlier versions you could)
Macromedia and their darn legacy stuff....Be careful that if you do manage to open it, that you keep a FH 9 version...The chances are that you won't be able to re-open it in FH 9 once it has been saved in FH 10, either on a mac OR a PC. I learned that the hard way with lots of my Flash 4 files when Flash 5 came out.....Opened it in a trial version, then couldn't use the buggers at all once that had run out... Sheesh. Ashley M. A designer's e-mailed me a .fh9 file before and it opened fine. Then he e-mailed another one and it says it's not a valid Freehand file. Then he Base 64 encoded the .fh9 attachment and that one opened OK, but in Freehand the file looks degraded. I'm stumped. Any ideas?
