I agree, what is the point in the use of Flash for calling up data into tables, when HTML Tables would suffice...
I don't get it, the whole thing is a usability nightmare. If they wanted to showcase what can be done, then perhaps a showcase would be a better option... Don't even bother trying to download components, it will take you weeks to find what you are looking for..
