When you click the button refresh the current page and append a url variable with translate=French
Or whatever Check the url var and then set the session. This session can then be used from then on Then code in the page says if Session var exists or url var exists with a language write out or not write out the stuff you want which is optional. You cant do it without a page refresh unless you use a javascript pipe and writetoDiv but that's going to be messy as all hell.
