When I said restart the server I really meant: stop and start the
cfusion server instance from within the Jrun admin console or from the
commandline.

Sun's JVM that MM have used for Redsky seems to have a huge disliking of
directories with spaces in. This could be your problem.

For the hot-deploy dir just put the jars into lib and restart the
server, Redsky will automatically find them and make the classes in them
available.
