Thanks for your help! Nope, that didn't work either. Still the same "ColdFusion MX ODBC Server service is not running or has not been installed" error. I was able to create the System DSN easily (I've done that before), but I can't get anywhere in CF Admin.

Try to create a System DSN on the server and try to connect to that
