In all the years that I've been using CF Server (a frighteningly long time) there has never been any serious security issues, other than the sample app code view form and other issues of the developers/administrators own making. As far as I can remember all the security issues are resolved or never an issue, if you engaged your brain and make some fairly minor changes with the settings.
