The javascript code works great - thanks. Is there a way that I can make the status messages appear on the form though? The form is a square box with rounded corners looking all nice and XPeey. I have made it s that error messages appear on a status line on the form. Ideally I would like this status line to be updated when the focus changes rather than the browser status line .......
