I highly DO NOT recommend plusnet. Customer service are very unhelpful, and try to make life as difficult as possible. You cannot even email anyone, everytghing has to go via the website, so you cannot even reply to an email anyone sends you, very annoying. When I got my plusnet service I sent them a list of questions about the router they supplied to make sure it met my needs, they claimed it did. IT DID NOT, and on top of that it kept needing rebooting. Would they give a refund, no way. They would only replace it, despite the fact it was useless to me a sthey lied about it's features. I was also told they supplied multiple static IP's, when I asked for these I was told no, I had to get mental on their asses and state I was closing my account if they didn't supply.
As with most providers they use the BT network, and if BT go down, they go down. Whenever I had to call them due to loss of service they didn't even try to be nice or explain, I just got, 2not out fault it's BT, can't help you, you will just have to wait".
