that should be document.location.href. If you've got a <form action
="page1.cfm"> and your submit button has an onClick going to page2.cfm,
then I'm pretty sure your form will just submit to page1.cfm and ignore the
onClick event.
Is this a form that you want to submit to itself until a certain point when
you want to submit it somewhere else? You can change the form.action value
using Javascript. Or you could change your submit button to <input type
="button"> with the onClick stuff you've got already. The problem is that
putting the onClick on a Submit button won't work.

Ok I give up!
I have my form and all is working well passing details back to itself for
the drop down lists. (I didn't use threerelated in the end as it appeared
too slow)
Anyway I cut clipped copied & pasted and I have something that works.
Thing is now I want to pass the form parameters to a results page.
I have this ...
<input type="submit" value="Search"
onClick="location.href='modrep_results.cfm'">
When I submit it just goes back to the original form (Is it ignoring the on
click?)
How can I do this easily preserving the form.variables that are defined ?
Regards - Paul
