Hello, This is a special mail for the Chamilo 2.0 development team. From the Chamilo 1.8 team, we send you our best wishes and words of encouragement on this big last run to Chamilo 2.0 beta.
We hope you will be able to reach a reasonably beta state (i.e. without major bug or major rebuilding necessary) by the 26th. We're a bit busy on our own stuff, so we have not much time to help, but if we can be of assistance for spreading the news afterwards, let us know. I think it would be good to already think (a few days after the release) about a final stable release attempt date, in order to give a blurry idea to people about what's going to be the waiting time. I was thinking 1st of December should probably give you enough time and ensure a few RC's can be released in the meantime. Also, we can make up a diagram with a comparison of features in 1.8 and 2.0, which will help people know if they can move to 2.0 straight away or if they should wait for new features to come in.
