Thank you for the wishes. On the 7th of july 2010 we will have a meeting
with the 2.0 development team to discuss the beta release and the
results / reactions on the release. During that meeting we will put a
date on the calendar to release the second beta and maybe we can put a
date for the final release. As far as the product goes I believe it is
pretty stable for a beta right now, we are just putting our final touch
to remove some minor bugs, the major bugs were fixed during the code
sprint days in brussels.
I like the idea of the diagram for the differences between 1.8 and 2.0.
To make sure we don't forget anything maybe we could both make an
extended features list with the most important features of our system
and then remove the doubles on both lists to have the differences.

I think it would be good to already think (a few days after the release)
about a final stable release attempt date, in order to give a blurry
idea to people about what's going to be the waiting time. I was thinking
1st of December should probably give you enough time and ensure a few
RC's can be released in the meantime.
Also, we can make up a diagram with a comparison of features in 1.8 and
2.0, which will help people know if they can move to 2.0 straight away
or if they should wait for new features to come in.
