Hello,

First I must say that Compiz in a great thing when demonstrating Linux for someone!!
I use to say:  The impression from Compiz will keep in mind in the same natural way that good Christmas food will keep around your waist!  :-D

Now to what I think is a problem. Compiz-Fusion don't syncronize so well with the KDE-desktop. I run openSuse 10.3 KDE at  a 32bit processor.
There are some problems I can list them for you;

  1. When the computer starts from power off and I log on, the kicker menu often misbehave and the kicker programs instead appear in the taskbar (where the minimized programs should reside) The easiest way to get rid of that problem is to log off and log on again.

  2. The cube sides don't syncronize with the sides shown in the pager. If I go to the K-menu and change menu-style from suse to KDE or from KDE to suse menu style it is possible to show the miniature pictures of the windows in actual pager frames. This should be direct from the beginning I think.

  3. It is a bit strange when the desktop show up after log-on.  It looks like it starts twice, first without Compiz then it restarts an now with the Compiz feature..  To much blinking and fixing to look nice and professional I think.    :-(

  4. I is not possible to have different desktop backgrounds on the cube as I am used to in the KDE environment.

    If you can fix that i should be great!     :-)
    Can I reed anything about your plans about KDE, Compiz and those items?
