--- Comment #4 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-06-01 11:39:23 --- Thank you for your answer, but don't you think it's strange to not have vsync (maybe for optimisations, I understand) in compiz while vsync is enabled in nvidia? It's a kind of "hack" in compiz to "improve performances", no? When you move the cube, the vsync works, and performances are far from bad... For you, sync to vblank resolves the tearing problems, even if you move a window very fast? Because on my computer, it doesn't... And someone has explained why in the nvidia topic... Would it be possible, at least, to have a checkbox somewhere in CCSM to enable this fix, even if disabled by default? At least, people could choose to loose a bit of performances or to avoid this awful tearing effect... When you move the cube, the vsync works, and performances are far from bad... Thank you by advance. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.opencompositing.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.compiz-fusion.org/mailman/listinfo/dev
