Summary: Hesitancy when using desktop wall plugin and mousewheel
                    to switch desktops
           Product: Compiz Fusion
           Version: 0.7.4
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Plugins
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I'm using ubuntu hardy x86 on an integrated ati radeon xpress 1100 with
fglrx/aiglx. This setup worked flawlessly with compiz (mostly), out of the box,
after enabling the restricted drivers.

I upgraded from 0.7.4 (stock hardy) to 0.7.6 (0.7.6-0ubuntu2~ppa1) today, and
noticed that desktop wall would no longer allow me to smoothly switch to a
different desktop if still in the middle of a desktop switch animation. I have
to wait for the desktop to completely finish moving and redraw before the
mousewheel becomes responsive again.

>From talking on #compiz-fusion on freenode, it would appear that the smooth
transitions in 0.7.4 are what's meant to be normal.

To illustrate my point, if i want to go from desktop 1 to 3, scrolling the
mousewheel doesn't just work. The animation will stop at desktop 2, where you
have to scroll again. This wasn't the case in 0.7.4.
