after upgrading from 0.7.8 to 0.8.2, both switcher plugins suffer of leaving
artifacts on the screen*.
(also I have now redraw problems with caret (the blinking bar that indicates
cursor position in text boxes) which previously I didn't have.)
I tried also upgrading my video drivers. in fact I tried nvidia drivers version
177.82 180.29 180.44 185.19, and I get the same issue with all drivers.
If I downgrade to 0.7.8 the issue disappears.

my card is: nVidia Corporation GeForce 9800 GTX (rev a2)

compiz is started by gnome session with the command: compiz-manager (in the
process list I see: '/usr/bin/compiz-manager' and '/usr/bin/compiz
--ignore-desktop-hints --replace --loose-binding ccp')
* (the switcher window should fade away when I release ALT key, instead some
pieces of it remain on screen, and I can clear that only by moving windows over
it)
