Sure, that should not be a problem, and it should already be posix sh clean. I imagine also opensolaris is a target. For blacklist detection, I noticed FreeBSD needs pciconf instead of lspci, and I added this to a "freebsd" branch so I don't forget it. I guess Xgl is a dead horse on FreeBSD as well? I am keen to kick that out of the script, if there are no objections.
