Some more info. I got past the error Danny now has by picking a different fset. Instead of picking "appframework", I picked "traditional desktop". This got me to a nice desktop screen with green grass. On the EeePC the touchpad didn't work so it was somewhat useless w/o a usb mouse.
Just throwing that out there. Lots of bugs still.
