This is very good tip for testing but I cannot see it as something I
could actually depend on when doing software releases for Midinux.  As
you pointed out it's fragile.

I see only two solutions: ship dependencies together with each
application or build (semi)official "Moblin extras" repository for
libs not covered by the compliance specification.
