I thought contributions to contrail-horizon repo are made through pull requests on Github only, so please clarify that. Considering the version, I think the name I proposed is correct, OpenStack versioning changed with Liberty release to semantic versioning, OpenStack Horizon is now epoch 2 version 8.0.0. I think I could contribute with OpenStack Kilo code as well, so you could create contrail/Kilo-2015.1.1 branch as well.
