I agree - with a couple "buts":
 - IMO it would require a new standard for existing and new solutions to follow.
 - You need a component providing (and gathering) health/metrics of
multiple SDN solutions available on the market. Depending on the
existence and adoption level of aforementioned standard, it can be
quick and easy or not. I don't know if this would be the goal for
contrail-analytics, but the idea is very tempting - especially in the
form of a separate project.
