Reminder: Icedove source code depends of the Debian community. However,
they're on transition into Mozilla Thunderbird, and maybe the Parabola
Hackers are keeping the Icedove branding, improving for the usage for
future versions of Thunderbird that Debian releases, such actually
happens with the source code of Iceweasel since Debian re-branded it as
Firefox since version 45.

Actually, the GIT repo of Debian Icedove does not show activity related
into Icedove progress (specially, into the rebranding to Thunderbird):
