I mean basically you can write your emails however you want. If you
would like this feature I certainly wouldn't deny a patch. You could
a) add an option to identities to add the signature to the top and b)
another one to define the delimiter ("-- "). Probably makes sense to
define it per email address so you can post to full-disclosure and
don't get leveled for TOFU and still use TOFU with company email.
I think the so-called standard (signature at the bottom and "-- " as
the delimiter) should be the default and then people can change these
settings.
