A request - could the Contact Groups stuff perhaps be moved off into a separate development branch until it's finalized, and the existing work be reverted from trunk?
I'd like to roll out some of the fixes present in recent revisions, but I don't really want to use the contact groups stuff (especially the schema changes) until it's a little more finalized and usable.
