As some of you may know, this Wednesday was my last day in the said role. I don't want to go into much detail, but I assure you that it wasn't an easy decision for me. Writing free software for a living is a privilege these days and being able to do so in Haskell is on par with winning the lottery (thanks to Aaron and David for this opportunity!).
From now on I'll continue as a volunteer. Not sure how much time I'll be able to devote to the project since I expect myself to be very busy. Maybe an hour per day, maybe even less. That said, I really want to see the CI system deployed and running, so I'll try to find some time for that. However, if someone wants to take it over, that'd be very appreciated. It's a good project for a newcomer because the codebase is not very big and you don't need to know much about the Snowdrift code. In any case, I'd like to stay in touch. Feel free to contact me. I'll be happy to explain why that thing is written like that etc. This was a great experience on some many levels, thank you all. _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.snowdrift.coop/mailman/listinfo/dev
