Please let me emphasize one thing first: as I mentioned in my cover message the project at current stage is driven by product specific demand. Making our solution generic is a long term process which we have just started by sharing our current work progress. Any feedback (either positive or negative) is highly welcome and may influence the further direction of the OS part of the project. "As you know" means only that you are discussing in a thread where I have revealed our work along with the main goal and development status. So please don't be offended. We published code for the first time here as it was developed for (specific) Tizen, it is (mostly) tested and evaluated on Tizen and there are some dependencies which we can constrain only here, keeping some repositories together. "Our" dbus daemon utilizes some additions made to "our" kdbus so those have to go together. I am not sure if our code for either kdbus or dbus is ready to be lifted to any branch in upstream. Obviously it is not even ready to be included in generic Tizen as it lacks such a feature like SMACK security right now. This is the one of major milestones ahead. (This is an answer for another concern raised somewhere here.) While we have to complete our project, we will be delighted if our code might be reused. Therefore we are starting a discussion here to gain a community feedback and adjust our directions accordingly.
