However, as you know, there are other maintainer for kdbus such as Greg, Kay Sievers, Etc. [http://events.linuxfoundation.org/sites/events/files/alss13_gregkh.pdf] I can see their recent patches on kdbus git repository. [https://github.com/gregkh/kdbus/commits/master] I know that Lennart is one of the important person for kdbus development. But, I don't know that his is the only one person for kdbus.
