Cause 1.7.8 and 1.8 is already released, I think it's hard to EFL application works in those version. We want to apply Tizen 2.x patch to EFL 1.9 for support Tizen 2.x apps. For that reason, I want to follow efl's master branch.

Is there any plan to make the EFL based mobile applications work with 1.7.8? AFAIK, there are lots of non-upstream patches in Tizen 2.x to support the core apps.

By the way, how about naming the branch "efl-1.8" or "upstream-efl-1.8" as efl upstream uses "efl-1.8" as its stable branch name?

And is there any plan to sync tizen efl master with efl upstream mater?
