Is it really the case? In tizen we are carrying quite a few patches
that weren't integrated into upstream projects. Our whole security
model depends on this (upstream dbus-daemon doesn't support smack if
I'm not mistaken).

This is why I'm not so keen on making kdbus _default_ option, but
I wouldn't mind having it as "technology preview" feature (if it
would be in good-enough shape, that is).

I don't see kdbus being integrated into linux kernel earlier than Q3-4
this year. Possibly later. Hopefully we will know a bit more after
FOSDEM.

I have seen that you will be giving a talk on sunday I plan to attend.
Possibly we manage manage to meet earlier, though - you can count that
whole kdbus team will be attending "anatomy of kdbus" talk.

Me and Lukasz will probably be at "Friday Beer Event" too
https://fosdem.org/2014/practical/beerevent/ ;-)

Cheers,
Karol
