I agree with you and to not create the confusion by "asssigned reviewers" I meant people who we expect them to do those tasks for real default assignees which are too many at this time .... and this is not working in many cases... So we don't need more reviewers, we just miss actual ones :-) It would help to tell when an "orphaned" package could be adopted by any good will... To not flood the list, I reported some maintainer tasks bugs but it's pretty hazardous that default assignee will reach the actual maintainer, so it's not making things easier...
