Hello!

One of the issues that we have in Tizen 3.0 with Bluetooth is that we
need to support multiple users on the same system and decide how they
are going to share access to paired Bluetooth devices.

At the moment in Bluez, all pairing is global, so all users of a system
get access to all paired devices. This was also discussed at a recent
GENIVI CE expert f2f meeting and the consensus was that this is
undesirable for some devices (in particular mobile phones, because they
contain confidential data), while it is needed for others (a Bluetooth
keyboard was mentioned; it needs to be usable globally before the user
logs in, for example to allow him to log in by entering a password in
the first place).

Luiz, can you summarize your idea how "private device pairing" could be
done inside Bluez? How likely is it that this can be implemented
soonish?

Everyone, do we agree that we want this for Tizen 3.0?
