Title: Samsung Enterprise Portal mySingle

Hi Brad,

Sorry for late answer.

The Image what I tested is public.

You can download the image in download.tizen.org

I also encounterd aclocal problem as you did, but for testing , I installed the aclocal in local scatchbox(~/GBS-ROOT/local/BUILD-ROOTS/scratch.armv7l.0). and then I have made the libbuxtonsimple.so.

I also think that aclocal should be included in common.

If you have any update, please let me know.

Best Regards,

JuWan Kim

Hi JuWan Kim,

Is that common arm-wayland image public? If so, I'd appreciate a link to the repo, so
I might test build before pushing.

If that image is not public, I have no choice but to request you push the patch yourself.
Our Tizen 3.0 images are in bad shape, and I'm having trouble getting a successful
test build. The closest  I got was by building against our IVI repo, but it is lacking the
automake package, which is needed during the build process for aclocal. I'm left with
nowhere I can test to ensure OBS will be able to build the updated package
successfully.

Best,
-Brad

Hi Brad,

I tested your patches in common arm-wayland image ( not latest ).

I installed buxton-rpm in target(Odoird U3) and pushed libbuxtonsimple.so manually.

and I confirmed that bxt_hello_simple is worked well.

I think that your patch is no problem.

Hi JuWan, Semun,

Could one of you test the attached patches against a 3.0 ARM build?
As I had mentioned previously in discussion with Semun, I do not have access
to such an image.

I've done a little porting to ensure these patches will apply cleanly to
tizen.org : platform/upstream/buxton.  I had updated the tizen.org Buxton
project to the upstream 3.0 release just a few weeks back. Since these patches
are not in a release, we'll just need to carry the patches in OBS. Please see
attached.

Best regards,

That's ok. I just had thought that you are not interested in that issue.

Ok, now, I hope that the merge of simple interface will be done today as you said.

and I am wondering what the simple notification.

Could you please exlain what the concept is?

We are interested in changeing vconf to buxton easily and hope that the all change will be done in the very near future.

so, I am wondering that you have a due date for this work.

The _expression_, "when ready", is not clear.

I apologize for the delayed response; I've been out on medical leave for most of the past week.

Thanks for noticing this - I had thought the Simple interface was already merged. I'll do so first thing tomorrow

There's also an expanded Simple interface currently being worked; that will enable simple notifications, such
that the Buxton interface is as easy to use as the vconf API. That's probably a week off still, but I'll merge
that when ready.

Hi Brad,

I saw the simple buxton library in upstream.
https://github.com/sofar/buxton/blob/master/src/include/buxtonsimple.h

Do you have any plan to merge it ?
Simple library will be helpful to convert vconf to buxton.

BRs,
JuWan Kim.
