What is THIS in "this implementation"? I'm understanding that it is the crosswalk one. But conversely cert-svc --> libxmlsec1 --> libxml seems from your analysis more complete as it include privilege level computation and is, in my opinion -that is maybe wrong when looking to your joint table-, less subject to inextricable dependencies.
