Hello, all,

As of now, boot & kernel images for TM1 are included in platform binary just
for convenience.

Since some engineers are starting to bring up TM1 with Tizen 3.0, boot image
and platform image will be released separately soon.

If you need your own bootloader and kernel, then you can build them from the
source code.

Regards,

Jinmin

Right ... So you need both boot and wayland for a given device to be able to
use them?

Looking then at
https://download.tizen.org/snapshots/tizen/mobile/latest/images/arm-wayland/,
we have ...

u-boot and kernel ONLY for RD-PQ and OdroidU3, but no userland.

Userland ONLY for Note4 and TM1, but no u-boot and kernel

Meaning that nobody outside of Samsung can actually do anything still with that
profile? Which was the case when Tizen 3.0 M1 Mobile profile was announced
at TDC. Sigh ...

Or am I missing something?

No, boot images contain u-boot and kernel, while wayland contains userland.

Current Common release is synchronized with M1, which you can find here:

That depends on profile. When it comes for Common, current snapshots were
tested on: Odroid U3/XU3, VTC1010 and emulator. We're still completing
hardware for our testlab, so that's not all. Quite accurate list can be found
on wiki: <https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Common#Reference_Hardware>
We'll update wiki if there will be any changes.
