This is a vote to announce Log4j 2 will no longer support Java 6 or Java 7. We will remove the download links for Log4j 2.3 and 2.12.1 from the web site and future release announcements. Of course, both will continue to be available from the distribution archives and Maven Central, and every prior version of the web site is still accessible at http://logging.apache.org/log4j/log4j-{version}/index.html.
