that's good to know - I also like the instructions to be fool proof 😅
in case you couldn't fix winget - this is how you install the remaining 
dependencies for Windows via choco:
 
choco install mono
choco install dotnet-8.0-sdk
 
I will add the alternatives to the instructions.
