"just how some people communicate" and the idea that it's OK to say anything 
that comes to mind (because that's what you think) can be used to excuse any 
form of communication whatsoever.  Everyone was just saying what they thought 
in LUCENE-5859 too.  No thank you.

It's not like single instances of this are "fine" or "not fine"... I was trying 
to make a general point how pervasive use of supercharging arguments fosters 
conflict and inhibits cooperation and consensus.
