Mark Miller commented on SOLR-6293:
-----------------------------------

I've knocked a few of the slowest tests off the list. Here is the current
accounting:

{noformat}
[junit4:tophints] 257.56s | org.apache.solr.handler.TestReplicationHandler
[junit4:tophints] 112.90s | org.apache.solr.cloud.BasicDistributedZkTest
[junit4:tophints] 112.90s |
org.apache.solr.cloud.CollectionsAPIDistributedZkTest
[junit4:tophints] 104.33s | org.apache.solr.cloud.ShardSplitTest
[junit4:tophints]  92.20s |
org.apache.solr.schema.TestCloudManagedSchemaConcurrent
{noformat}

> Solr tests have gotten much slower.

> I run tests with 8 jvms before I took a 2-3 month hiatus from Lucene / Solr,
> Solr tests ran in about 9-10 minutes on my machine. Now it's 16 minutes. This
> issue is a top level issue to track looking into what has caused the
> additional time, if it makes sense, or if there is stuff we can move to
> nightly.
