I completely agree with [~anshumg] . We don't want users to be exposed to a
core at all. When a user is in SolrCloud mode , he should never be exposed to
the concept of a core. The core is just an internal implementation detail. The
smallest entity you can interact with , in a SolrCloud environment, should be a
replica
