A few more problems, it wont work with MDW correctly unless we deal with stale
file maps (or MDW knows that linking is happening).
We also need to look into what this is about, maybe its solved in the JDK:

BUGS
On NFS filesystems, the return code may be wrong in case the NFS server
performs the link creation and dies before it can say so. Use stat(2) to
find
out if the link got created.
