It looks like a JVM issue, not Lucene issue. We don't test against Solaris
because we don't have access to a test machine running this OS.
Could you try running a full suite of Lucene test on those (test) machines
running Solaris? Do the test pass (run it 10 times, they're randomized).
If you can reproduce the problem (more or less reliably) than the hotspot-dev
mailing list would be more appropriate to report this issue, but you can also
post it here, we'll pass the information along.
