Alessandro Benedetti commented on SOLR-7739:
--------------------------------------------

Hi Tomas,
as specified , I would prefer to move this to the Solr-user mailing list.
This ticket was for the development, not for the usage :)

Anyway I saw that you are using :

<initParams path="/update/**">
    <lst name="defaults">
      <str name="update.chain">add-unknown-fields-to-the-schema</str>
    </lst>
  </initParams>

Which is not using the classification UpdateRequestProcessor.

Cheers

> It would be nice to have an UpdateRequestProcessor to interact with the
> Lucene Classification Module and provide an easy way of auto classifying Solr
> Documents on indexing.
> Documentation will be provided with the patch
> A first design will be provided soon.
