Some of the planes are cutting the "planet" too thin and therefore making the
shape too small, that is how I visualize it.
I place the following statement at the end of the constructor:

it seems to be always true. Maybe we can divide the circle in four sectors
using planes that goes from the center of the shape to each of the cardinal
points (north/south/east and west) and the center of the world (I think
parallel and perpendicular planes would not work).
