[~anshumg] No rush, now that I know someone's going to look I'm happy to wait
for your feedback. So far applying the patch is pretty painless whenever I try
things on a current pull.
NOTE1: My preliminary running of the full test suite 10 times each in master
and 8x is encouraging. I ran 8x under Java 8 and master under Java 11. That
said, I would not be surprised if other things popped out when all the Jenkins
builds run, please all be alert for that.
NOTE2: _Nothing_ in this patch takes advantage of any new functionality in
3.5.5. In particular, there's certainly work to do to allow SSL between ZK and
Solr, all the JIRAs that are linked in SOLR-7889.
